Shaping Odessa Auto: A product manager’s view from the trenches

I’ve spent most of my career in captive auto finance. I’ve sat on the credit desk and rehashed tough decisions with dealers, witnessed funding queues back up because of missing docs and incorrect contracts, and carried the admin keys for an auto finance LOS.

That background drives how I approach my current role as a Senior Product Manager on Odessa Auto Originations, where our focus is practical: build a platform that handles the real work of retail and lease originations for consumer and business – and give lenders the control they need to move fast and stay in control.

Speed where it counts

When the queue stacks up, speed isn’t a nice‑to‑have; it’s the whole ballgame. We built Odessa Auto to keep momentum: strong data connections, clean handoffs, and a decision‑to‑funding path that avoids the usual stalls. The goal is straightforward – timely approvals and predictable funding that dealers can trust.
