Odessa unveils new low-code development framework

Odessa Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of lease and loan management software solutions, today announced the launch of Odessa Build, a low-code development framework that allows business users to extend LeaseWave and quickly build new custom business applications.  Odessa Build will address the growing need faced by IT and business teams to innovate at an accelerated pace, while optimizing processes and reducing costs.

Announced at ELFA Annual Convention 2016, Odessa Build embodies a shift from the traditional relationship between end users and a development partner. Built with business user needs in mind, Odessa Build allows for the deployment of enterprise-class applications with rich GUI features, security, workflow and integrations, all built atop a standard .NET technology stack.

For users of Odessa’s lease and loan accounting software solution, Odessa Build further offers a window into the inner-workings of the application. With the full power of the Odessa Platform, businesses will have the ability to create future-ready, upgrade-compatible extensions to existing functionality, integrate with surround applications with minimal IT involvement, and build new standalone applications that can grow their leasing IT landscape.

Odessa Build is intended to provide customers with:

• Application building blocks including entity models, business logic, workflow modeling, and UI layout and design
• Pre-built solution components including application governance through security, audit and error logging and integration services through a Web API
• Best-in-class architecture using a standard .NET stack
• Implementation accelerators including test automation and migration tools

Odessa plans to make Odessa Build generally available to customers in October 2016.
